At the appointment, she will assess your dog's behavioural presentation, establish a diagnosis, and develop a personalized treatment plan that you leave with in writing. Cats are often stressed in a clinical environment. To avoid a long in-clinic visit, feline consultations use a two-step process: an online 60-90 min consultation where Dr. Squair reviews your cat's history and develops a diagnosis and treatment plan, followed by a brief 15-minute in-clinic visit to meet your cat and establish care. Both steps are included in a single fee. Ongoing email support is included.

Behaviour change takes time, and consistent support makes a meaningful difference. Included in the initial consultation is ongoing email communication and support, and follow-up appointments are also recommended to ensure comprehensive care. Follow-up appointments allow Dr. Squair to assess progress, adjust the treatment plan, and provide ongoing guidance as you and your pet work through the process.

Online Treatment Plan Follow-Up - $75 + GST

In Clinic Annual Behaviour Recheck - $325 + GST

30–45 min in-person · Legally required once yearly to continue providing care and prescriptions

This is an in-person visit that is required once yearly to continue to provide care and prescriptions. It also allows Dr. Squair to see and assess your pet in-person again, which allows further evaluation and comparison of their behaviour from the first visit.

Households with multiple pets can often be seen within a single appointment. Additional animal fees are assessed case-by-case depending on whether the animals share a presenting concern (e.g., interdog or intercat conflict) or have independent behaviour concerns requiring separate assessment and treatment plans. Please mention all pets involved when booking.

Specialist Referral Consultation - Dogs $450 + GST · Cats $300 + GST

Online with client · written recommendations to referring vet · out-of-province only

60-90 min appointment conducted online with the client. A written summary and treatment recommendations are provided to the referring veterinarian for implementation.

Referring veterinarian maintains care and is responsible for prescribing recommended medications.

Ongoing support is provided directly with the referring veterinarian. Virtual follow-up appointments (Treatment Plan Follow-up) can be scheduled with the client for continued support.

72 hrs+ notice: Full deposit refund, or apply toward a rescheduled appointment

Less than 72 hrs notice: Deposit forfeited. As a one-time courtesy, clients who have not previously cancelled late may apply their deposit toward a future appointment if they contact us before their scheduled appointment time

No-shows: Deposit forfeited. A new deposit is required before rebooking
